1.Flush the toilet several timesbefore testing and clean off all toilet bowl cleaners, disinfectants or deodorizers from the toilet and tank.
2.Take out a test paper, put it into the toilet, wait for 2-3 minutes, the test paper
should not be bluegreen. If the test paper is blue-green, wait for three days and repeat the operation.
3.If necessary, urinate first and flush the toilet to avoid possible contamination of blood components in the urine. (A blue test paper is positive)

1) Defecate without flushing the toilet;
2) Take a piece of test paper and put it into the toilet. Place aluminum foil bag closed to avoid moisture of the remaining test paper;
3) Observe whether the test paper turns blue within 3 minutes; (The test paper was considered positive if it turned blue)
4) Flush the toilet;
5) Repeat the above steps after the second and third bowel movements.
[Interpretation of Test Results]
  • Positive: Any visible blue trace on the testpaper indicates the possible presence of blood (hemoglobin a/b/c) in the faeces, suggesting the possible atypical cells and a higher risk of having adenomas, or colorectal cancer in the tested sample. It is recommended to seek further examination at a reputable hospital through colonoscopy or other clinical methods.
  • Negative: No blue traces are observed on the test paper, indicating that no atypical cells were detected in this test and there is a lower risk of adenomas or colorectal cancer. Annual screening is advised.

If your result is negative but you have any of the following symptoms, please consult with your doctor promptly:
  • Persistent diarrhea or constipation for more than two weeks;
  • Unexplained weight loss;
  • Visible rectal bleeding;
  • Dark black faeces.
